This highly qualified and formidable team has a fantastic, professional work ethic but also an exciting team spirit that rubs off on the children.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">What\u2019s more important than the great qualifications is that our staff LOVE children and have years of experience with all different ages.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>This is the key ingredient to our success as a nursery.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We test their ability to engage, listen and respond to children when we interview new members of staff.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">We operate a Key Person policy.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Each member of staff is allocated to a small number of children.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It is their responsibility to engage with your child and to communicate with you about their<\/span> <span class=\"s1\">progress and any issues that may crop up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our owners have qualifications too!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Gerard has a first class degree in Economics from the University of Birmingham, an MBA from London Business School and a post-graduate qualification in childcare (Early Years Professional Status) from the University of Gloucestershire.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Gisela has a post graduate diploma in Theatre Studies, and has teaching qualifications in music, dance and drama.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>All three of the Gray family children are graduates from Little Smarties and love being part of the family business.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">The best nursery I&#8217;ve ever seen.
